In 1953, the founding generation started out of a garage on the East Side of St. Cloud. After struggling to make a go of it for a few years, Mother Nature lent a helping hand with a severe hailstorm that jump-started the business.
The storm helped fund the purchase of a two-story house at 622 East Saint Germain, where our family ran the business on the main floor and lived on the second level.
We remained at that location for over fifty years — starting two new businesses, expanding half a dozen times, and establishing great relationships with our customers by providing professional and friendly service.
In 2005, we built a brand new facility on Franklin Ave NE, just a few blocks from our old location. This building is more convenient for our customers and more efficient for us. We finally have our entire operation under one roof.
East Side Glass has been in business for over 70 years and is now a third-generation family-owned and operated business. Since moving to our current location in 2005, we have expanded our existing building and added an additional building. We have also added and upgraded our equipment to help serve our customers and provide the best glass in service in Central MN. We believe our many years of combined experience and expertise in the glass industry help set us apart.
